WHY IS HANDMADE SOAP DIFFERENT FROM COMMERCIAL SOAP AND BETTER FOR YOU?

The natural glycerine content in our handmade soap is very high.  During saponification (the process by which the vegetable fats and the alkali base chemically combine to form "soap"), a by-product called glycerine is formed. This glycerine is so valuable as a skin care product that commercial soap makers skim the glycerine from their soap and market it as a by-product. If you have never used a handmade soap before then do your skin a favour.  You will NEVER go back to supermarket brands again!

Commercial soaps may be cheaper to buy but they are not a good value for your hard-earned dollar.  Oftentimes, a typical consumer winds up spending more money than they have to by purchasing overpriced creams and lotions to medicate dry skin, which is actually being aggravated and made worse by that cheaper, chemically process bar of 'soap'.

Homemade soaps also last longer and don't melt away as quickly as most commercial soaps.
